Dagget 1995-2008
Dagget in San Marcos, CA 2000Today we said goodbye to our dearest friend, Dagget. Born on a farm near Swanton, VT, Dagget was 1/2 purebred Golden Retriever, 1/4 Lab and 1/4 German Shepherd. My first dog, he was given to me as a well-intentioned gift when he was only 8 weeks old and named after the robot dogs of Battlestar Galactica. As of lately he had lost nearly 20 pounds and had been suffering from apparent kidney failure.

I remember watching Dagget while George and Mandy were away at various times. He was a cool dog with a ton of personality.
You will be missed my friend. Say hi to Tiler for me.

Dagget was truly a rare breed and he loved you as much as you loved him. May he always be close in your hearts. He will be missed for certain.

I'm so sorry for you all. Daggett will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge along with Boomer and Guinness for us to show up. He was such a loyal dog... He is already missed.:-(

Its a day that I will dread with my fury children as well, sorry to hear of the loss.
It's a very hard thing to lose such a long standing and devoted family member. Dagget was the most amazing, smart, well balanced, sociable, loyal, and patient dog - the best 'grand-dog' you could ever wish to have. His eyes were always smiling and he had a wonderful can do attitude. Those of us in England that knew him will miss him too.
Dagget - you did a great job of looking after your family! I expect that Lars will even miss getting his face washed by you.

Rest in Peace Dagget! You were always my favorite dog among lots of Burton dogs (and I am not a dog person). So cute and well behaved.

i told chicken about dagget and she was so sad to hear of her old friend's passing.
thinking of you and can only imagine how hard it must be...he had a good life with you and i'm sure he misses you, too.
